Metchosin Municipal Grounds

Equestrian Riding Ring

Constructed in 1987 by Metchosin Pony Club volunteers, the riding ring is available for public use and for members of the Metchosin Equestrian Society. 

To use the ring, you must either be a member of the Horse Council of BC or hold your own insurance policy for horse-related activities, and must sign and submit a waiver form to the Municipal Hall. 

To book the riding ring for an event or for lessons, please contact the Metchosin Equestrian Society.   


Cricket Pitch

There are two cricket groups currently using the cricket pitch.  You can watch cricket matches almost every evening during the summer months.  To inquire, please contact staff at the Municipal Hall. 

Bike Jump Park

Metchosin has a great bike jump park located beside the Fire Hall.  Park at the Municipal Hall parking lot. 

Pavilion

Are you looking for outdoor space for a wedding, concert, or not for profit event?  The pavilion on the municipal grounds is available for private and public events.  No fees for not-for-profit organizations.  Please inquire with Heather at the Community House at 250-478-5155 for rental rates and bookings.
