Friends and family members can now be remembered in Metchosin with a memorial bench or picnic table at a municipal park, viewpoint or trail.  Locations throughout Metchosin are available.  Possibilities for bench sites include Blinkhorn Lake Park, Weir's Beach and

the Deer Trail lookout.  Picnic tables may be placed along the Blaney Trail or in Blinkhorn Lake Park.  If you have a suggestion for a location, please contact us. A donation of $1200 will provide a bench built of western red cedar milled on Vancouver Island.  The benches are bolted to a cement slab.  The donation includes a cast bronze plaque, installation, maintenance over a 10 year period.  Picnic tables are also available with a donation of $1,560. Donors are eligible to receive a receipt for income tax purposes.
